Take ownership of privacy, social media expert urges

By: Mike Beitz
The article discusses how social media sites are free to join but that they do come at a cost and that is your privacy. It talks about how you need to be careful of what and how much information you share online. For example with Facebook you can choose which people see the stuff you post while restricting others. The article also recommends not to use your real birth year as it can be used for identity theft. Overall only share what you are comfortable with others seeing.
