How handwriting boosts the brain

Bounds, Gwendolyn. "How Handwriting Trains the Brain." WSJ.com. N.p., 05 Oct. 2010. Web. 23 Nov. 2010.

In this article, Gwendolyn Bounds discusses handwriting as an essential skill, even though it is being left out due to the developing technology. Bounds says that the brain functions better when handwriting rather than typing in a keyboard. In addition, students can write better essays using pen and paper than those using the computer keyboard.

Even though technology is bringing back awareness to handwriting (iPad applications), it is best that we should not forget how to write using pen and paper so that it could still be passed on to future generations.
